68 CHEVY CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE BIG BLOCK 4 SPEED VIN#194676s413504. Built in the 70's the car is an original Big Block 4 speed ..I don't know if it is a numbers matching motor. It has an old school Magneto and Old M/T Valve Covers. Aluminum Intake Holly 750 carb. The Motor Runs Strong no smoke no noises. 4 speed Transmission is a M21 and it shifts perfect no shaking chattering no loose shifter its nice and tight with no leaks. The car comes with a 411 rear im told its original with 4speed to have a 411 also a complete 456 rear with the car. Body: Don't know who built it or the flip front end but it's really nice job. The rear fenders are flared and have no cracks. The bumpers are molded to body. Its Really a blast from the past. The Top is Like new with a clear window. The car has been sitting for 26 years in the garage it recently was sold due to a death in the family. The car was stored dry after some gas and brake work.. It Fired right up and held an idle... After test drive it got a 4 wheel alignment and drove it over 100mph. it was straight and true. The paint on this car is a base clear multi color pearl 70's paint job. it isn't bad as far as a driver but not show paint job. The car has a couple of spider web cracks in the paint but small it is in driver paint condition. A Very Cool Old School Vette ..The story is the owner built the car after seeing The Movie Corvette Summer. Start $8,500 with no reserve. May 11, 2015. |
